Acupressure is a blend of “acupuncture” and “pressure”, which involves placing pressure by hand, elbow on different acu points on the surface of the body. This DVD shows the complete set of Traditional Chinese Acupressure Massage to revitalize the entire body’s ‘Qi’ energy and restore a state of total balance and well-being. Master Zhang Hao shows sequences for acupressure massage for the whole body in seated position and on the massage table. Acupressure points along the meridians are referenced with each stroke.

There are various style of Chinese Massage, most of them attempt to restore the flow of Qi. There are three types of common Chinese manual therapy or massage:
Dian Xue – The Acupressure, which involves pressing the Acu points on meridians for removing “Qi” blockages.
An Mo – The Press and Rub techniques on muscles for muscular problems and or relaxation.
Tui Na – The Push and Grab techniques on tendons and joints for physical injuries.
The Acupressure technique is the one presented in this DVD.

About The Instructor
Master Zhang Hao was born in China. He graduated from the prestigious Beijing Institute of physical Culture with a Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Physical Sciences and Bodywork Therapies. He was also granted the privilege of studying Traditional Chinese Massage with one of the most highly regarded physicians in China, Dr. Li Yung Chang. At the age of 27, he was appointed Deputy Secretary General of China National Health Protection Research Society for Traditional Therapies. Since his arrival in Australia in 1988, Master Zhang Hao has been successfully sharing his knowledge and expertise to a considerable number of serious and enthusiastic students who have reached their goal in the field of energy healing through the oriental discipline they love.
