Product Description

Visceral Manipulation seeks to correct pain and dysfunction caused by imbalance between the organs and structures of the body.
In this DVD, pioneering osteopath Jean-Pierre Barral demonstrates and discusses many of the diagnostic and treatment techniques that he and his colleagues developed in their system of visceral manipulation. Also presented are original gross anatomical dissections prepared specifically by the author for this video format, together with graphical representations.
The central premise of Visceral Manipulation is that the interrelationship of structure and function among the internal organs is at least as strong as that amongst the constituents of the musculoskeletal system; and that, like the musculoskeletal system, manipulation of the viscera can be beneficially used in the treatment of a wide variety of problems affecting any of the body’s systems.
