QI FLOW YOGA - PRESENCE THROUGH MOVE
Awaken your spirit and experience the joy of being with guidance from host Kim Eng, who leads viewers through a series of gentle tai chi, Yin yoga and qigong-inspired postures and flows designed to distribute positive energy throughout your body. Featuring an introduction by spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle, this invigorating instructional program helps viewers attune themselves to the present moment and focus their attention within. Eckhart Tolle teaches that the present moment can't be experienced through the thinking mind. So what's one of the best ways to "turn it off" and experience presence? Put your body in motion. Now Kim Eng, Eckhart Tolle's teaching partner, shares some of the intuitive movements that have spontaneously arisen during her process of spiritual awakening. Inspired by Tai Chi, Yin Yoga and Qi Gong, these practices open the doorway to what Eckhart Tolle calls the joy of being. Filmed in a natural setting in southern California, this instructional DVD features an introduction by Eckhart Tolle about the value of moving meditation as well as Kim Eng’s gentle step-by-step guidance for:

Kim Eng is a counsellor and spiritual teacher whose Presence Through Movement workshops focus on the integration of mind, body, and spirit. As Eckhart Tolle’s teaching partner, she has helped translate his ideas into a structured practice. She is the author of Meditations for a New Earth. "In October, I had the pleasure of attending Kim Eng's weekend workshop -- 'Meditations for A New Earth'. I did not know exactly what to expect, although I had previously heard about Kim's unique approach to movement which involves combining Yin-Yoga, Tai-Chi and Qi-Gong into her teaching practice. To my delight, the movements were very simple, gentle, and easy to learn. I found myself letting loose, becoming relaxed, calm, and embracing inner stillness. As Kim guided us through the movements, I noticed the sensations that were occurring within my physical body. As I became aware of these sensations, I was able to notice them not as a source of discontent, but simply as sensations. The workshop provided time for movement as well as time for relaxation, meditation, and interaction. I found that her unique blend of disciplines allowed for participants to experience a variety of movements within one workshop. Kim promotes a fun, relaxed atmosphere in which one can really let go of constant thought and become present with the body." - Natalie SchreiberIn |
