This DVD gives you all the basics of Craniosacral Therapy and Unwinding. CranioSacral comes from cranio, meaning head, and sacral, which refers to the base of the spine. Therefore, the CranioSacral system means the brain and spinal cord, including the cerebrospinal fluid, the surrounding membranes ("meninges") and the bones of the spine and skull. CranioSacral Therapy is a nonintrusive, gentle manipulation of the skull and spinal system.

Fascial unwinding is a gentle and non-invasive treatment process which involves responding to subtle pulls and tensions in the fascia. Therapists then follow the tissue demands, subtly turning, twisting and pulling the muscles wherever they wish until a still point.
