Here are just a few things you will learn:

  • How to work the fascial planes of the body to create structural changes
  • Various tools & applications for successful release of myofascial restriction
  • Important vector & pace when applying these tools
  • Effective positioning your clients to achieve remarkable changes in their structure, creating freedom of movement
  • Various approaches to deal with many painful conditions.

So what exactly is Structural Integration?

Pain in the human organism both physical and emotional was based on our relationship with gravity and its effect on our fascial membranes. Force vectors that enter the body either physical, emotional or environment can effect the physical structure, the alignment of the skeletal structure and all the muscles, ligaments and tendons of the organism. Through skillful application of techniques, a therapist can inform the system of its imbalance and ultimately change the structure to a place of more ease freeing up energy that is used unnecessarily to hold patterns of imbalance.

Structural Integration doesn't resemble classic Swedish massage. The strokes are much slower, often times not even moving, while the therapist waits for the fascia to release and lengthen. Fascia is an organ of form and through deliberate and focused application with passive and active of the client's body during the application painful conditions often disappear as the body takes on a more upright and fluid postural attitude. Through movement education and exercises, our clients engage in their own healing, often creating changes that last a lifetime!

Testimonials

I have just finished watching the six DVD for Structural Integration and have been enjoying adding techniques to my massage practice. ,,, I also have a regular massage client who gets weekly 90 minute massages and has allowed me to practice with her as I am learning the new techniques. She tells me almost every week that "this was the best massage yet". Thank you again for making this training available. Carey Phillips CMT EEMCP

I just wanted to let you know that I have been using your structural integration DVDs, and I love them. I'm using the techniques to very good effect in my practice, and the DVDs have re-ignited a passion for myofascial work that has been simmering ever since my classes in massage school. How wonderful the feeling is, and how enjoyable the "class" you made possible in my living room!  Elizabeth Yon
